Q: Are my donations tax deductible?
- Yes! The Signing Time Foundation is recognized as a non-profit organization in the state of Utah.
Q: What is the money from my donation used for?
- Ongoing commitment to community education through school appearances, speeches, etc. to educate the public on the benefits of signing with children of all abilities.
- Product donations to organizations, events, and individuals in need.
- Expansion of the Foundation website which supports families in their signing education.
- Ongoing commitment to Deaf schools in Ghana. While a future trip is not currently on the calendar, there have been two trips as well as materials donated.
- Signing Time community concerts. In Nov. 2007 The Signing Time Foundation presented an all abilities concert featuring the stars of Signing Time and local children of diverse abilities. It was an entertaining and inspiring event. With sufficient funds, the Signing Time Foundation hopes to host such a concert in numerous communities across the country.
- From 2006-2008, the Signing Time Foundation supported Signing Time on American Public Television that reached millions of homes throughout the United States. We are currently seeking a sponsor to get Signing Time back on television.
